Testing

Testing is not just about reducing risk - it is also about increasing control. By aligning the testing objectives with the business objectives and by increasing the effectiveness of testing both can be delivered.

These are largely technical testing services but include business oriented services also such as usability testing.

The different methodology that we follow while testing

Regression Testing

Regression testing is any type of software testing which seeks to uncover regression bugs. Regression bugs occur whenever software functionality that previously worked as desired, stops working or no longer works in the same way that was previously planned. Typically regression bugs occur as an unintended consequence of program changes.

Integration Testing

Integration testing (sometimes called Integration and Testing, abbreviated I&T) is the phase of software testing in which individual software modules are combined and tested as a group. It follows unit testing and precedes system testing.

Functional Testing

Black box testing takes an external perspective of the test object to derive test cases. These tests can be functional or non-functional, though usually functional. The test designer selects valid and invalid input and determines the correct output. There is no knowledge of the test object's internal structure.

System Testing

System testing first occurs in the development environment but eventually is conducted in the production environment.

Usability Testing

Usability testing is a technique used to evaluate a product by testing it on users. This can be seen as an irreplaceable usability practice, since it gives direct input on how real users use the system[1]

Security Testing

Process to determine that an IS (Information System) protects data and maintains functionality as intended.

Acceptance Testing

Acceptance testing generally involves running a suite of tests on the completed system. Each individual test, known as a case, exercises a particular operating condition of the user's environment or feature of the system, and will result in a pass or fail Boolean outcome.

Localization Testing

Localization testing is a part of software testing process focused on internationalization and localization aspects of software

Performance Testing

Performance Testing covers a broad range of engineering or functional evaluations where a material, product, or system is not specified by detailed material or component specifications: Rather, emphasis is on the final measurable performance characteristics.

Load Testing

Load testing is the process of creating demand on a system or device and measuring its response.

Stress Testing

Stress testing is a form of testing that is used to determine the stability of a given system or entity. It involves testing beyond normal operational capacity, often to a breaking point, in order to observe the results.

Compatibility Testing

Compatibility testing, part of software non-functional tests, is testing conducted on the application to evaluate the application's compatibility with the computing environment.
